Frequently Asked Questions

There is so much info needed when you’re trying to visit a church. This page should be able to answer most of your questions our website hasn’t already covered, but if we missed something, please just give us a call or send an e-mail. (901) 754-3553 or

  • What do I wear to worship?

We’re not too concerned about that.  Some dress more casually and contemporary, including jeans.  Others wear skirts and slacks, jackets, suits and polos.  You will see a range of styles, mostly business casual. Whether jeans or something dressier, wear what will allow you to feel comfortable in the worship service. You will be welcome no matter how you dress!

  • Where are you located?

We are at the corner of N. Sanga and Fay Roads in Cordova, TN just south of the intersection of Macon and N. Sanga Roads.  Because our sanctuary building is so new many digital maps do not recognize our address quite yet.  Please try 8707 Fay Road or 1071 N. Sanga Road for our exact location on a GPS.

From Walnut Grove or Trinity Roads go north on N. Sanga.  You will pass Cordova Elementary and Middle Schools on your right.  The Cordova Community Center will be on your left and we are just past the Community Center on the left.

  • Where do I go for worship?

Most people enter the sanctuary building through the double glass doors on the west side of the building.  These doors open on to a grassy area shaded by our beloved oak tree between our two church buildings.  Others enter the sanctuary building through the double glass doors under the covered drive at the east side of the building facing N. Sanga Rd.   At either door greeters will meet you and can answer any questions you might have.  Restrooms, the Nursery and the Children’s Classroom are all in the center of the sanctuary building on a central hallway.

  • What do I do with my children?

We love children! Our Nursery is always available but never required. What you do with your children is up to you. Some families choose to have their children sit in worship with them; others prefer to have their children in the Nursery. Others children stay for part of the worship service and then transition to the Nursery or Children’s Church.

What is most important is that you do what helps you and your family worship God.  Children’s Worship Bags can be found at the sanctuary entrance to help entertain little ones. Our Nursery and Children’s Church programs are staffed each Sunday by a child care professional and at least one Cordova volunteer in each classroom.
